A run along the Lode 10k route. The weather was dry but rather cool for the time of year. Following heavy rain in recent days the ground was wet and muddy in places. The grass along Quy Water and between the barley fields after Lodestar was long and very wet.
A Great-Spotted Woodpecker was seen on top of a telegraph pole in Station Road and 2 more were heard along the route.
